Kim Owen, LVT

AKC Breeder of Merit/Preservation Breeder, producing healthy, sound Doberman pinschers since 1988

My passion is giving the best of to each of my dogs so they can thrive to their full potential and are loved by their families. I am devoted to being a source of knowledge, support and friendship to anyone who cares about the breed.

My goal as a breeder is to produce quality Doberman pinschers with beauty, brains and good stable Doberman temperaments — dogs who can excel in multiple number rings: conformation, obedience, tracking, agility and more — but most of all dogs who excel at home in being our beloved pets and dearest friends.

It is my job to choose caring, suitable homes for each dog I produce. In return, I expect the same from the new owners: a stable home environment, proper nutrition, veterinary care, grooming, exercise and a safe, loving home.

I have been involved in showing and breeding Dobermans for more than 30 years and have titled dogs in conformation, obedience, and other sports.

I started off showing Arabian horses and now live on our small farm where I care for several animals, including horses, geese, chickens, lizards, fish, and dogs of all kinds particularly a much beloved poodle.

I am married to a very patient man and have one daughter, who prefers her American Hairless Terrier over my Dobermans.

Ravensown/KO does not condone or support the breeding of the “white”/albino Doberman as it is a genetic mutation. Learn more about the DPCA policy on albinism.
